Why We Gather

What makes SPNN so special is our commitment to empowering community members through access to professional television studios, video equipment, hands-on training, youth media programming, and broadcasting opportunities. Every day, we help amplify voices that are too often underrepresented—including BIPOC, LGBTQ+, youth, people with disabilities, and many other individuals and organizations throughout the Twin Cities.

But we’re facing a big challenge: Last year, we received over $60,000 less in funding from our major funder compared to the year before. While we've worked hard to diversify our funding, this gap is real — and it’s urgent.

    This isn't your average trivia night. Teams compete for trivia glory-but here's the twist: CHEATING IS ENCOURAGED

    Buy cheats, sabotage your friends, and laugh your way through a night of community, competition, and fun.

    • $20 – Spectator: Just here for the snacks, silent auction, and good vibes

    • $100 – Free Agent: No team? No problem! We’ll place you.
