SPNN believes the best way to hear how a candidate feels about an issue, it to hear it directly from them. This is why this election season we teamed up with the League of Women Voters to host nine candidate forums. We held one forum for the St. Paul Public Schools Candidates. One for the Ramsey County judges on the ballot. We also held forums for Districts 64, 65, 66, and 67 House and Senate Races. We also held forums for the Ramsey County Commissioners on the ballot as well. Before you go vote, you can hear from the candidates themselves where they stand on issues important to you- from taxes to oversight to data centers.

We also hosted one forum with the League of Women Voters MN on election security.

The League of Women Voters of Minnesota, in partnership with the Minnesota Reformer and the Leagues of Detroit Lakes, Duluth, Minneapolis, St. Paul, and Mankato, is hosting a series of nonpartisan community conversations this fall about Minnesota's elections. These events are designed to help Minnesotans better understand how our elections are administered, why they remain safe, secure, and accurate, and what each of us can do to strengthen public trust in our democracy. Each conversation will feature local election officials, a journalist from the Minnesota Reformer, and League representatives, with participation from the Minnesota Secretary of State's Office. Together, they'll discuss election administration, election security, public confidence, and the vital role informed citizens play in protecting free and fair elections.
