Wikimedia.org --> A great resource for public domain and creative commons media
Spinxpress.com --> This site aggregates media content
Jamendo.com --> A good home base for your CC music search
Opsound.org --> A quirky collection of user-submitted content
Freemusicarchive.org --> Curated by several radio stations and recording studios, this site features hip live recordings and free creative commons-liscenced downloads
Mobygratis.com--> You must first request music from the artist before you’re approved to download it
Musopen.com --> Public Domain classical music
Publicdomain4u.com --> An eclectic collection of Public Domain music
CCmixter.org --> A collection of remixes and music you can reuse and remix
SXU.hu --> login: spnnyouth, password: youthvideo
Flickr.com --> Under “Search,” select “Advanced Search,” and then check the box for “Only search within Creative Commons-licensed content.”
Google Images --> Under “Advanced Search,” select “Liscensed for commercial reuse.”
Findsounds.com --> a good resource for sound effects, search by file format.
Freesound.org --> "a huge collaborative database of audio snippets, samples, recordings, bleeps, ... released under Creative Commons licenses that allow their reuse"
Archive.org --> Films from the Prelinger Archive are in the public domain. Other films may also be Creative Commons material, check the individual license.
