Make your program look the best it can
Follow these guidelines to ensure a quality broadcast
  • When recording/dubbing programs make sure there is at least a 30 second leader on all tapes submitted. 30 seconds of leader consist of bars/tone and a countdown before the start of the program.

Programs starting at head of tape will be clipped to begin 30 seconds in, and run time will be adjusted.

Also add at least 5 seconds of black after your program.

  • The Playback Release must be completely filled out.

On air control needs to know the length of the program, what channel it airs on and the series title. If the air dates are known include those also.

Picking Up Tapes?
SPNN tries very hard to return tapes to members after they have aired. In order to ensure that your tape(s) will be ready for pick up we ask that you give the SPNN staff 24 hours notice before coming in.
